The Housing Fund Management Center of Beijing recently issued its "2009 Report on Housing Allowance Interest Settlement for the Period from July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010". The report shows, by June 30, 2010, Beijing had over RMB 1.5 billion in settled interest for housing allowances, and a total of over RMB 120 billion in both principal and interest.

The Zhejiang Provincial Human Resources and Social Security Bureau recently proclaimed the wage income benchmark for enterprises in 2010. Specifically, the reference line for average monetary wage growth is 12%, the bottom line is 4%, and there is no top line.
As of July, Beijing will raise the social insurance base from RMB 3,726 to RMB 4,037, an increase of RMB 311, the Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau announced.
The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Statistics recently announced that the annual average wage for Beijing employees in 2009 was RMB 48,444, for a monthly average of RMB 4,037. Ten industries fell below the average level; the financial industry led the income level with RMB 174,183.
According to the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Statistics, the annual average wage for Guangzhou employees in urban non-private employing units was RMB 49,215 in 2009, up 8.49% nominally, or an increase of RMB 3,850 from 2008.
