Guangzhou: Enterprises Shall Not Cut Pay For Stoppage of Work Due to High Temperature

The Guangzhou Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau recently issued the "Circular on Doing a Good Job in Lowering Temperature and Preventing Sun-Stroke amidst Hot Summer Weather", which forbids enterprises to cut employees' pay for stoppage of work or decreased working hours due to high temperature.
